All vaginas have natural process for cleaning, irrigator is totally unnecessary, and although doctors don’t recommend it, 25% of women continue to use it. Irrigator can increase the risk of ovarian cancer and it’s linked with infections in that area. Recent research added this as a reason for ovarian cancer.
“ Gynecologists warn women to not use irrigator for vagina hygiene” says Joel Brown, epidemiologist.
Ovarian tumor is a silent killer and the symptoms cannot be noticed in the early stage.
The risk of ovarian cancer
Ovarian cancer refers to any cancerous growth that occurs in the ovary. The majority of ovarian cancers arise from the epithelium (outer lining) of the ovary.
According to the American Cancer Society, it is the 8th most common cancer among women in the United States.
In the early stages, ovarian cancer usually has few symptoms; in many cases, there are no symptoms at all.
Patients often attribute their symptoms to other conditions, such as premenstrual syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, or a temporary bladder problem.
For many women the vagina is self-sufficient and naturally self-cleaning. A healthy vagina is colonized by a mutually symbiotic flora of microorganisms that are naturally present and, most of the time, this maintains normal vaginal flora.
It is contributing to wide range of products for the vagina hygiene like including various gels that can promise a scent of the tropical fruit or the cookie.
Women who are rinsing their vagina often think that it is an obligatory part of the regular care. It is when they prepare for the sex when shower after sex. And this is all because they have heard from their friends or mother. None of them are aware that it can be very harmful.
