You need :

  • 200 grams peeled and chopped ginger
  • 450 ml filtrated water
  • 225 grams sugar
  • 115 ml sparkling water
  • Few drops of lime juice
  • Lemon slices


  1. Put the water in a pot and bring it to boil. While still boiling, put the ginger in the pot.
  2. Lower down the heat and stir for 5 minutes on low heat.
  3. Remove the pot from the stove and let it stay for 20 minutes.
  4. Strain the liquid from the ginger.

Then it’s time to make the syrup:

  1. Dissolve the sugar in 1 cup of boiled water.
  2. Mix ½ cup of the ginger juice with 1/3 cup of the syrup and ½ cup of sparkling water.
  3. Mix honey and some lime juice.
