The lubrication in tendons and ligament starts to decrease more and more and they lose the flexibility and mobility, we cannot make quick and sharp movements anymore. This is a normal aging process that everybody goes through. What we can do is slow it down by taking some precaution measure to make the knees and tendons more flexible and stronger.
This is a recipe for a completely natural smoothie that will strengthen you knee ligaments and tendons because it`s full of minerals like magnesium & silicon, the bromelain enzyme as well as vitamin C which are all known for the pain relief and anti-inflammatory qualities. And it can also improve your overall health and fill you with energy.
FOR THE RECIPE YOU WILL NEED:
TWO CUPS OF SLICED PINEAPPLE
1 CUP OF ORANGE JUICE (PREFERABLY RAW)
1 CUP OF OATMEAL (INSTANT)
250 ML OF WATER
40 GR (1,5 OZ.) OF RAW HONEY
7 GR (0,25 OZ.) OF ORGANIC CINNAMON
40 GR (1,5 OZ.) OF ALMONDS
First, prepare the oatmeal. Then, squeeze the juice from the pineapple chunks. Blend together the almonds, honey, orange, and cinnamon. Add the oatmeal and the pineapple in the blender and blend all together until the mixture is smooth. If you like you can also add some ice cubes at the end and blend it once more.
