Honey has been shown to help fix sicknesses extending from an annoying cough to a grievous wound.
Thymol gives thyme its unique flavor. It has powerful antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, which is great for the lungs. Furthermore, thanks to its antioxidant properties, it destroys free radicals.
Here’s what you need:
1/2 jar honey
40g thyme, dried
Instructions and usage:
Stir the herb into the container of honey. If the mixture is too thick, pour in 50 milliliters of water. You can filter the water by boiling it first. Mix well and keep the jar in a warm place for 2 weeks.
Every two days, mix the mixture. Strain the blend using a gauze or tea strainer. Consume one tablespoon two times a day.
